10 Designer Bags I’d Still Buy Again Today
There are a lot of designer bags I’ve owned, sold, loved for a season, or simply moved on from over time.
But then there are the bags I would genuinely buy all over again today without even thinking twice.
Not because they’re trendy, rare, or “good investments,” but because they actually worked their way into my life. The bags that became part of my routines, my travels, my everyday outfits, and honestly… the bags I still reach for constantly.
Some are practical. Some are emotional. Some just make every outfit feel better.
Out of every bag I’ve owned, these are the ones I’d still choose again today without hesitation.
1. Hermès Birkin 25 in Gold Togo Leather with Palladium Hardware
If I could only keep one Birkin, this might honestly be it.
The gold color works with almost everything, the Togo leather makes it easy to actually use, and the palladium hardware gives it a slightly more understated and modern feel compared to gold hardware.
I love that it feels classic without feeling too dressy. It works with denim, tailoring, oversized coats, travel looks… literally everything.
This is one of those bags that reminds me why the Birkin became iconic in the first place.
2. Hermès Birkin Cargo 25 in Very Dark Navy
I LOVE this bag.
Honestly, I think the Cargo line is still underrated compared to classic Birkins. The mix of canvas and leather gives it a much more relaxed and functional feeling, but it still feels special.
Mine is in a very dark navy toile canvas…so dark it almost reads as black, paired with black swift leather handles, sangles, and trims and I genuinely think it’s one of the coolest bags I own.
It somehow feels sporty, luxurious, practical, and understated all at once. I carry it constantly.
3. Louis Vuitton Speedy Soft 30 Dark
This bag surprised me so much.
The Speedy Soft feels like Louis Vuitton understood exactly what people want right now: something comfortable, functional, lightweight, and easy to wear daily without losing that luxury feel.
The darker color makes it feel more elevated and versatile, and the relaxed structure gives it that effortless look I personally love in bags.
It’s one of those bags that actually gets better the more you use it.
4. Hermès Birkin Cargo 35
This is probably one of my favorite travel bags.
I know a lot of people prefer smaller bags right now, but for travel? Nothing compares to a larger Birkin Cargo.
The pockets are actually useful, it fits a ridiculous amount, and it somehow still looks incredibly chic while moving through airports, hotels, or walking around a city.
This is one of those bags that makes luxury feel functional instead of precious.
5. Hermès Birkin 25 in Noir Togo Leather with Palladium Hardware
A black Birkin 25 with palladium hardware is just impossible to regret.
It’s elegant, sharp, easy, timeless… all the words people overuse about handbags, but in this case they’re actually true.
I especially love Noir with palladium because it feels cleaner and slightly less formal than gold hardware.
This is the kind of bag that always works no matter what mood you’re dressing in.
6. Hermès Birkin 25 in Etoupe with Gold Hardware
Etoupe became popular for a reason.
It’s one of those colors that works with almost every wardrobe. It has warmth, softness, and depth without feeling too beige or too gray.
I do love mine with gold hardware, but if I bought it again today… I might actually choose palladium. I realized over time that I naturally gravitate toward palladium hardware in almost everything.
Still, this combination is beautiful and incredibly versatile.
7. Gucci Giglio Large Tote
This bag feels very “cool city summer” to me.
It’s the type of tote I love carrying while traveling, walking around somewhere beautiful, going for coffee, shopping, even heading toward the beach.
It has that effortless oversized feeling without looking sloppy, which is harder to achieve than people think.
I also love that it doesn’t feel overly precious. You can actually live in this bag.
8. Louis Vuitton Multi Pochette Accessoires in Khaki
I genuinely still love this bag.
Some people probably consider this bag very “of its moment,” but I still think it looks great…and more importantly, it’s incredibly practical and comfortable to use.
The khaki color makes it feel more relaxed and wearable, and the multiple compartments make everyday life easier.
Some bags become popular because they actually work, and I think this was one of them.
9. Louis Vuitton Nano Speedy
This bag is just cute. There’s no other way to explain it.
But what surprised me most is how much actually fits inside.
I think people assume nano bags are completely impractical, but this one genuinely works for essentials while still giving that fun miniature-bag feeling.
It also makes almost every casual outfit look better instantly.
10. Balenciaga Rodeo Small in Khaki
I didn’t expect to love this bag as much as I do.
I bought it thinking I’d enjoy it casually, but it quickly became one of the bags I reach for the most.
It pairs so well with different looks, it’s incredibly comfortable, and it has that slightly undone, cool energy that makes outfits feel more interesting without trying too hard.
Honestly… I want this bag in multiple colors and sizes now.
That almost never happens to me… except with Birkins.
Final Thoughts
The list could honestly go on, but these are the 10 bags that immediately came to mind when I thought about the bags I truly love living with.
Not just looking at.
Not just photographing.
Not just appreciating from a design perspective.
Actually using.
And I think that’s the biggest compliment you can give a handbag.
