And the Giglio bag, unveiled during the Cruise 2026 show in Florence, is exactly that.

A return to something grounded in the brand’s root, but interpreted in a way that feels very current.

I got the large size in beige and brown GG canvas, and I didn’t expect to love it as much as I do.

It’s one of those bags that doesn’t try too hard, but still completely makes the outfit.

Slouchy, but not messy.
Soft, but still structured enough to hold its presence.

It just… falls into place.

The Shape Is What Makes It

What really sold me is the way it sits on the body.

The straps have this subtle twisted construction that makes the bag naturally curve into your shoulder.
No adjusting. No overthinking.

It feels designed to move with you.

And that’s something I always notice, because proportion and how a bag wears matters more than anything.

It doesn’t feel like Gucci trying to be loud again.

Would I Recommend It?

Yes!

It feels very Gucci, Gucci, in the best way.

And the shape is one of those you just end up loving.

It makes a statement, but in a good way. Not forced, just right.

This one surprised me.

In the best way.

Because a good bag isn’t just about how it looks, it’s about how it lives with you.

And this one does that really well.

What stood out to me is how lightweight it feels. It doesn’t have that heaviness that some Chanel bags carry, which immediately makes it easier to reach for on a daily basis
